Double Glazed Sealed Units (DGUs) or Insulated Glass Units (IGUs) are the basis of double glazing / insulated glazing. The unit contains the two glass panes and fits inside the frame of double glazed windows and doors. A new unit may be required in cases of smashed glass or condensation / misting in double glazing. We produce custom units made to measure in our workshop with any type of glass and 6mm - 20mm profile / spacer bar sizes.

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass with an interlayer that holds the glass in place when shattered, offering increased safety and security. It is available in clear, white diffused ("white laminate") and other forms.
Toughened glass, or tempered glass, is a type of safety glass that has been processed to increase its strength. Glass must be cut and drilled before it is put through the toughening process, as it can not be cut again or re-worked in any way after toughening.
Georgian Wired glass, or Wire Mesh glass, is a type of safety glass and fire-rated glass used for its fire resistant properties and also for extra security providing an additional visual deterrent.
Horticultural glass, or Greenhouse glass, is used for glazing greenhouses, garages, sheds, etc. It is a lower grade of glass at a lower price and produced only in 3mm thickness.
